The Mother Myrick’s Story
Mother Myrick’s Confectionery has been keeping Manchester sweet since 1977. During that first year, Ron starting making fudge & then added our now famous buttercrunch toffee, caramels & chocolates. Jacki, Ron’s wife, brought her expertise in food & customer service to the fledgling business. We are very proud of all of our homemade cakes & chocolates and make every effort to use the freshest ingredients possible in small batches.
Our delectable candies, cakes and fun events bring locals and visitors together in celebration of life events! Whether it’s our annual Summer Reading Program, our Kids Cakes for Mom or our Easter Egg Decorating Contest, a trip to the Mother Myrick’s brings out the kid in all of us.
Our retail store on Main Street store is open daily. Imagine the aroma of just-baked pies, sample the beloved Lemon LuLu Cake, and try a bite of Ron’s signature buttercrunch with its crisp toffee center, dipped in chocolate and rolled in fine almonds and cashews. Made with Vermont’s own Cabot Creamery butter, judged “Best in Class” at the World Championship competition in Wisconsin, the buttercrunch is worth the trip alone!
